Well, that was a bust (0-1)

The Nor'easter definitely tracked further east than expected, leaving us with a disappointing nothing, and hitting New Jersey and New York.  Oh well.  Next time.

2-hour Delay tomorrow

So the coming storm does not seem to be all that incredible, especially compared to Sandy, however, based on past precedent, I'm predicting a 2-hour delay tomorrow.  There's a distinct possibility that we'll get less than an inch and be ok and not have a delay, but the chances of getting a delay-worthy amount of snow seem to be greater. Say...70-30.  PV should get between 2 and 4 inches of snow, but that will be easily plowed by the trucks.

All in all, I predict a 2-hour delay tomorrow.

Success! (6-3)

Forgot to give myself credit for the prediction on 1/25 too, hence the win column jumped up 2.

No, you are not getting out early today

Snow won't start until around the end of school, and even then, it'll only be up to an inch total.  Just be careful driving, all of you.
Those of you with things to do tonight - We'll get MAYBE a total of two inches spread across afternoon to midnight, plus there will be some melting during the day and 26˚ as a low tonight, so watch for black ice.

I guess I may as well say it now - No Delay Tomorrow.

No Delay Tomorrow

Doesn't look like it'll be enough precipitation or cold enough.  Giving it 75-25 odds.

Win! (4-3)

Ok..that was an easy one, but there were some hopeful people out there

No Delay Tomorrow

No delay tomorrow...might be some snow on the ground, but there won't be a delay at all.

No Delay Tomorrow

There have been some emails asking about a delay tomorrow…my thought is “nope”.  NO DELAY TOMORROW.

Success! (2-3)

Was even a little warmer than expected.  Some parts of our district even saw some sleet/snow in the morning!

No Delay tomorrow

Yes, there may be a little snow tonight, but nothing to write home about.  It will also get particularly cold, given the arctic front moving in (arctic fronts are much colder and more rare).  However, I do not believe it will get cold enough to freeze enough roads to cause a delay of any sort.  Just be careful out there, especially over bridges which freeze more quickly than roads.
